Last Trail Stewardship Day for 2011 — Saturday, Dec. 17th
The Trails Council will hold our final 2011 trail stewardship day on the 3rd Saturday in December (12/17). If the weather stays dry enough, the December trail work task will be to work on a stretch of the Ridge Trail near the recently installed puncheon for drainage work and brushing. We will gather and park the volunteers at the Richardson parking lot at 9am then shuttle workers and tools to the Pig Flat staging area and walk in to the work site.
If the weather turns wetter between now and the 17th, we will shift our effort to N. Burma, near the intersection with Live Oak for drainage work, and park at the bottom on Channel Dr.
In order to make sure we have enough tools and snacks please contact us if you plan to attend.
Don’t hesitate to contact me if there are any questions.
As always, it’s a pleasure to work with you all and be able to help out our park.
