Just a thought,but I believe Jack London State Park was designated a National Landmark also. Might that have an effect on it being closed by the state?

You’re right — South Burma is really bad. We’re not going to work it, however, because the North Bay Conservation Corps is doing a reroute on that section. They started last fall, but won’t be back again until the ground is a little drier.

We do have our eyes on the lower end of North Burma, and hope to fix up a section near the first creek crossing early this summer.
