<p>Stewards supports many stewardship opportunities in our State Parks. Twice a month dedicated volunteers provide valuable assistance working on trails, building or removing fences, and replacing washed out coastal stairways, to name a few of the projects they undertake. Volunteers also conduct monthly marine debris monitoring cleanups. No experience is necessary and specialized training is provided by State Parks.</p>

Live the cultural history of the Sonoma Coast by stepping back in time. This new docent-led program for students in grades 4th &#8211; 7th offers insights into the natural history as it pertains to our cultural resource heritage.</p>

Instructors: Marianne Hurley (State Parks Historian) <strong>and Robin Joy, Fort Ross Interpreter</strong><br />
Learn about the cultural history of Willow Creek, part of Sonoma Coast State Park, including fascinating information about the historical structures in the area. An update on the Willow Creek Fish Passage Project will also been provided.</p>
